I have a policy not to judge what others are eating so they are less apt to judge what I’m not eating. Most of the time it doesn’t work because people can’t help picking on me. I wonder why?
Plenty of my friends report feeling much better when they restrict their food intake to avoid specific categories. Others (including some otherwise very dear relatives) are simply attributing how good they feel to the diet when in fact it’s that the simple act of following *any* regimen means a more disciplined diet, and thus better overall health.
Some people are Texas Rangers fans, too, and we just have to accept their delusions of good sense, then change the subject.
your neighbours are jerks?
